Memorial Bench for Cary Coovert

The Friends of Lexington Bikeways is helping to raise funds to place a bench in memory of Cary Coovert, an Arlington resident and cyclist who died in a tragic bicycle incident on the Minuteman Bikeway on March 24, 2019.  Cary’s family hopes the bench will be located near the accident site in Lexington and installed this spring. By placing this memorial bench in Cary’s honor, his family hopes to create a place for peaceful reflection, and a positive reminder to safely share the bikeway that Cary loved and traveled on daily.  Your donation will help make this possible either via PayPal (link below) or by sending a check in any amount payable to Friends of Lexington Bikeways with the annotation Coovert Memorial on the memo line c/o Bob Hausslein (address below).  Thank you!

Snow removal from the Minuteman Bikeway in Lexington is paid for by the Friends of Lexington Bikeways through private donations.
